Latest Video Diary entry:

Hi, this is David Wier.  Welcome back to my SetFocus SharePoint video diary.  Wow, this week was another good week. 

Not only did we finish learning about adding our own code and user controls to SharePoint web parts, but we started another mini project.  I’m not quite finished, but at this point, I can tell you that you learn almost as much in the mini projects as you do in the class itself.  This project has been one of the biggest challenges so far.  Sometimes between work and family and class and just life in general, the thought runs through your head that you maybe just give up.

But let me tell you now, if that thought passes through your mind, just ignore it.  Sometimes the learning curve is hard.  In fact, it usually is when learning new technology but you can do it.  I know because I’m finding out that I can do it, too.  So, I’ll see you next week at pretty much the same time and the same place with my next video diary entry.
