About 2 1/2 years ago, I was in a job in which I learned my first bit about SharePoint. There was a woman over the ‘Intranet’ (Sharepoint), who barely new some basics about it.

However, our company saw fit to hire a contractor who was on call to help us get things implemented. He showed me some of the basics I needed to get our portion created. But then, I needed something that was apparently a little more than what came in the ‘box’, as it were. The contractor had no idea how to implement the things I needed.

Now, here I am, not even half way through the course, and I’ve learned how to do what the SharePoint ‘specialist’ could not do and had no idea on how to go about doing it.
