We have made it through the first quarter of the .NET Master’s Program and the first project! There are many exciting learning opportunities ahead including this week’s lecture focusing on Developing Windows Applications using VS 2008. Wayne Wilkerson will again be offering his wealth of knowledge through interactive instruction.
Week four also brings an opportunity for Career Development (CD) headway. At this point students will have had an opportunity to watch the resume video on-demand, attend a resume workshop and begin working on a personal resume draft. According to the .NET Career Development Timeline which contains ideal CD completion dates, the resume should be reaching the final review stage this week allowing students to move forward to the next tool, the LinkedIn profile. In addition to the resume focus, other CD opportunities include the workshops offered last week – LinkedIn, Interview, Portfolio and another offering of Resume.
